Our process
The stages of video production, from brief to distribution
A successful production comes down to method. Here are the stages of video production at ABRID Films: each one is approved with you before we move on to the next.
4 weeks
on average from brief to delivery, with a guaranteed schedule for urgent projects.
Phase 01
Before the shoot
This is where it all happens: a well-prepared film is a well-controlled film, on time and on budget.
The brief
Everything starts with an in-depth conversation with your teams. We analyze your communication goals, your audience, your strategic challenges and the message your film needs to convey. This immersion phase lays the creative and editorial foundations of the project.
Scriptwriting
Based on the brief, we develop a clear, impactful narrative concept. We write the script (voice-over or interview) and define the tone, pace and structure of the film to tell your story in a consistent, engaging way.
The storyboard
Once the script is approved, we create a storyboard or a visual treatment. Shot by shot, we plan the images, moods, camera movements and graphic elements for smooth, controlled storytelling.
Pre-production
A key stage: we plan the entire shoot and prepare every participant.
- Location scouting
- Scheduling and logistics
- Crew coordination
- Technical preparation
- Coaching for on-screen speakers

Phase 02 · Step 05
The shoot
Our crews shoot on site while respecting your operational constraints: secure areas, production schedules, staff availability. We capture professional, authentic and flattering images of your trades, your teams and your work environments.
You’re welcome to attend, but it isn’t required: a project manager oversees the set from start to finish.
Phase 03
After the shoot
The images take on their full meaning in post-production, then the film is adapted for each of your channels.
Editing and post-production
Every detail is refined to strengthen the impact of the message. Discover our post-production department.
- Video editing
- Color grading
- Graphics and animations
- Music and sound design
Voice-over and adaptations
If the project requires it, we add a professional voice-over (French, Arabic, English or another language), chosen to match your image. The film is then adapted into the right formats for your channels: web, social media, events, internal communication.
Variant · Motion design
For a motion design film, two stages replace the shoot
Illustration
Our illustrators draw the characters and settings, then set the colors of your visual story.
Animation
Our animators bring the illustrations to life for a smooth video, ready to carry your message.
